Wednesday night video on board
Buses with the Quiapo-Taytay route, espacially air-con ones, usually have TVs inside them (used either to entertain commuters or cause dizziness and nausea to these poor people). I try to enjoy my ride home by watching snippets of the programs shown on that TV, that is if the reception is clear enough.
So last night I got to catch a part of GMA 7’s Majika on board. Fine, another fantaserye stuff. But wait, what is this…?
The plot goes like this: Angel Locsin’s Sabina and Dennis Trillo’s Argo are so much in love with each other. But a dark secret is revealed: they learn they are siblings because they have the same father. Ewww. Talk about almost-incest. So anyway, they know that they cannot be together, blah-blah, and all that sh–.
Now, considering the flashback that Carmina Villaroel’s character gave the viewers, I have a friggin’ question. If Jean Garcia’s character, her sister, was in some sort of hibernation in some place far away from the guy, which happens to be Zoren Legaspi, and he falls in love with Carmina and impregnates her, how can she be pregnant the same time as Carmina? Gets? That would have been a pretty fast move from the dude.
Wow, why do I even bother?
Anyway, going back to the Sabina-Argo issue, I have a feeling there is a twist there. Maybe Argo has a different father. Still, if they weren’t siblings, they would have been related, as their mothers are sisters, right?
So does the magical kingdom of Saladin allow first cousins to get married?
I know someone who would cringe at the thought.
But then again, why do I even bother?

POL: Maganda sana siya, kaya lang matigas ang punto.
ZETH: Eh di pakuluan mo para lumambot.
I swear this place beats any hospital’s psych ward you’ve ever been to.
