Fine if you call it sourgraping
It’s been the third year I’ve gone to witness the Gundam Action Kit contest where Gundam enthusiasts and airbrush addicts converge to customize their beloved mechs.
And it’s the same thing every year.
Okay, what I mean is the same set of judges, the same set of contestants, and the same set of winners. Or almost.
Maybe you’re thinking that I’m kinda ranting because my baby didn’t win even a consolation prize, but to tell you the truth, I saw a lot of potential winners yesterday that didn’t win (syempre, my SO ’s entry included). And I can’t help but think that the contest’s winners are already predetermined.
Maybe next time, the organizers should get a new set of judges for the next contest come November. You know, to avoid biases caused by the judge/s and contestant/s being "chummy" with each other. Gets?
