Six days of Happy Meals paid off
Finally! After eating seven Burger McDo and one Chicken McDo Happy Meals bought in different occasions, plus some additional pounds gained during that six-day period, I have now completed the Cars toys that come free with the meal. My head aches at the sight, and even the thought, of that white and pink paper package and the orange-colored thing that sits on top of the meat patty.
All for the love of the toy.
Besides, the Cars toys they sell at Toy Kingdom is priced at around Php200 each. And the big die cast Mater and Lightning McQueen models are sold at a hefty price of more than Php1000. No thanks. My 1K can be used for something else… and something better.
Plus these Happy Meal toys have some kind of "special" feature for each car. So that makes it even more cute. Cuter. Whatever. That’s the same reason I completed the Finding Nemo and The Incredibles Happy Meal toy collection. Add to the fact that probably after a decade or so, these would be considered "rare" and I can sell them at a higher price… hehehe…
For now, I’m gonna stay away McDonalds. Or at least until another deserving Happy Meal toy comes my way.
