Oops, we did it again
There is a story behind the office’s bundy clock. A couple of years ago, during a payday, everyone in our esteemed company opted to eat lunch outside. Back then, we wrote our time-in and time-out on a big notebook. Unfortunately that particular day, everyone opted to eat at a place where the order took time to arrive at the table. Add to it some chika-chika, and voila! You have a recipe for tardiness. The lunch break extended until 2PM, leaving our boss alone in the office with all the phones, landline and cellular, ringing for what seemed to him was eternity.
After some stern words from our boss, the bundy clock was born.
And today, we did it again…
We logged out for lunch at past 12. We came in at 2PM. In between, we left 2 bosses, no make that 3 (along with our Acctg/HR boss), our media manager and some cellphones ringing (because our boss was contacting our phones which we conveniently left in the office).
What can we say?
Well, maybe the saying "history repeats itself" is true.
Does that mean they’re getting a new and bigger bundy clock?
