I don’t want to catch the bouquet…
… and apparently neither do the other single girls during the wedding.
Personally, it’s not been a habit of mine to line up during that "tradition" and catch the bride’s bouquet. I think it’s too corny. I literally refuse to get up from my seat and join the festivity.
It’s funny because when you watch films with wedding scenes, all the girls go gaga, even push people around just to get the bouquet. They never want to be the bridesmaid forever. But in reality, the bouquet’s something like a disease virginal beauties don’t want to catch.
Well, at least I have a valid excuse. I’m already taken. And besides, if we were to participate in the tradition (he with the garter thing, of course), what are the chances that we’d both catch them? So there. I think that’s valid enough… right?
