Blabbing again
Is it actually possible that the brain can only contain so much information that it transfers old memories to the short-term memory part of our brain and cover it in mist?
Nothing, something that just came into my head when I was looking for old songs on the Internet.
See, I love music. And in every aspect of my life, there is that one, single song that, when I hear it, I remember that moment… and probably smile or frown (depends really on the recollection). So when I started downloading songs from the early 90s (I have a copy of Xtasi Xtano and How Gee, wohoo!), I was trying to recall more songs, and at the same time trying to recall the things I was doing or what happened around that time.
Unfortunately, there are things that register as hazy as a window of an airplane flying in the middle of stormclouds. Faces, names, events… there are some that I have quite a hard time to remember.
So I’m downloading more songs from the 90s and early 2000, maybe I can take away those clouds in my thoughts.
Sometimes I need to remember, y’know?
