Star Wars Episode 3
Went to an advanced screening of Star Wars Episode 3 at Gateway Mall. Was with Gio and Fluxx, then met up with Nelz and AJ. Left the office at 7PM. Prior to that, we couldn’t really concentrate on our work. Damn, too much excitement!
So at Gateway, we had to wait for about 2 hours to watch the movie, and spent 1 hour actually reacting about the smell of the cinema (amoy bagong Toyota Innova!) and its amenities (uy, yung arm rest pwedeng i-angat!). No lazy boys here. Sheesh!
And then 2 1/2 hours were spent marveling at the damn movie. It’s like a whole CG movie. Kinda made me wonder how George Lucas and Jim Henson (yep, the Sesame Street guy) did it with mostly puppets in the 70s.
Was kinda expecting people to come in dressed like Darth Vader due to the release of the helmets in Toy Kingdom about a month ago (or perhaps a Clone Trooper if they had more than Php 5,000 in their pockets to spend). But I guess the fanboys controlled themselves and went in ordinary civilian clothes. Disguising you are, eh?
Ah, well. Masaya. The experience is complete. Nood na kayo. Para may ka-kwentuhan naman ako.
